PaulMy name is Paul and I'm a registered nurse who lives and works in Houston, America's fourth largest city. A Republican and a fan of Glock pistols, I blog on politics, the law and current events, with a focus on firearms policy, illegal immigration, federal court rulings, Islamo-Nazi terrorism, the war on drugs and issues of interest to gays and lesbians. Although I often blog on the law -- politics is, after all, about the process of making law -- I am not a lawyer, and I don't play one on this blog. So if, as one reader did, you e-mail to ask for representation in your "open-and-shut" personal injury case, I'll have to pass.

If you have a blog of your own and want me to link to it, don't be afraid to ask. But your site should be devoted to law, politics or current events and not merely a diary of your personal experiences, however titillating.
